Resources for Partners

Become a referral partner

We welcome partnerships with agencies and nonprofit organizations to work together to provide healthy food to our neighbors and lasting solutions to end hunger. Our partners refer participants to us, can make bulk orders to pick up food for multiple families, and help us build long-term food security.

If you’re interested in establishing an agreement with Manna, please contact [email protected] or call 301-424-1130, ext. 20.

Referrals

  • Eligibility is limited to one food pickup per household every 28 days.
  • Every visit to Manna requires a new referral from your agency.

Picking up food

Participants

Participants will need to follow these instructions to pick up their food:

  1. Pick up at the [distribution site] during hours of operation.
  2. Bring photo ID. If their current address is not on their photo ID, they need to bring another document that includes their current Montgomery County address.
  3. If they can’t pick up their food, call you (their agency contact) to reschedule.
  4. Manna boxes can weigh up to 70 lbs, so they should come prepared to transport their food.

A participant may pick up food for one additional referred participant. They will need to bring a copy of the other participant’s photo ID with current address.
