Food Sorting – Evening/Weekends (Gaithersburg)
Please note that Sorting opportunities are limited. Right now, we are only able to schedule two sorting shifts per week.
Groups come to volunteer at Manna’s warehouse and help sort nonperishable food items in to designated bins. The task entails checking expiration dates on all food items and then pre-sorting them.

Monday-Thursday, 5-7 p.m.
Saturday–Sunday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
Requisitos
- Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
- Volunteers under 18 must have adequate adult supervision.
- Volunteers must be comfortable bending, lifting, and standing on their feet for the duration of the event.
- Volunteers must be able to work independently.

Entrenamiento
The volunteer group leader is responsible for attending an in-person training prior to the event, as Manna staff will not be present during your event. Training can be scheduled Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday between 8:30 a.m. and noon and will last approximately 20 minutes.
Inscripcion
The volunteer group leader is responsible for making sure all volunteers complete a Volunteer Agreement Form and are registered for the event prior to arrival.
